Great anticipation for 2012!

Hey Guys,

Desma and I have really, really enjoyed a relaxed holiday this first month of 2012 and feel a great sense of anticipation of what God is going to do in the lives of many around Australia, USA and Europe this year! I have begun lecturing and training at Hillsong College which has a record number of new students this year - its going to be a blast! I begin ministering and traveling on weekends again the first weekend of Feb.

While on tour in USA last we had the great privilege of connecting with for the first time and ministering for Pastors Gary & Drenda Keesee of Faith Life Church in New Albany, Ohio. It is so good to see a healthy, thriving Churches like theirs that is making a difference in their community and nation. As you will read by their good report and testimony, they also appreciated our visit and ministry times together.

Another great highlight while on tour in USA was to minister again with Journey Church in Cleveland with Pastors Jim & Jen Wilkes. Their Church is experiencing incredible growth and there is a great sence of life, joy and expectancy among them especially now with HisNameHigh band and Brain & Tammy Smith planted there - the Hillsong of Cleveland! It was a phenominal night of worship with them! I also need to mention the wonderful time we had with our good friends Pastors Brian & Joslyn Severin at Victory Church in Greeley, Colorado - what a wonderful move of God's Spirit!

I am also beginning to document the great things that I observe God doing around the world in and through His Church and amazing Kingdom. Make sure you regularly check our blogs for more information of our observations of what God is doing in His Church...

Hey Guys, (Desma's blog)

Well another eventful year has taken place. It's been busy but enjoyable & gone by very quickly.

Andrew continues to travel, preaching & doing music seminars, playing the harp, flutes, lecturing at Hillsong Bible College and loving every minute of it.

Our eldest daughter Melody & I are trying to do the Arrowhead business side of things. Not loving it, I'm still trying to learn what to do computers & I do not get on that well.
Melody has just had another baby today!! Yeah!!! We are looking forward to meeting our new grandson Solomon Micah Benson who is 8lbs and 51 cm in length born on December 14th. Melody has been run off her swollen feet and will be glad to have given birth...

Dave is a dealer representative for Mitsubishi, managing 15 dealerships across NSW. He does a lot of traveling.

Aria has grown up heaps in 1 year. She does all the things she's suppose to do & of course we believe she's the most brilliant & talented child to ever be born. I love it when she laughs.

Tim turned 8. HE LOVES SPORT. Don't ask him any questions about AFL or your day will be gone. I know this by learning the hard way.
He is delightfully good with his little sister.

Bree continues to enjoy her job as a PA at Hillsong and loves the joys & challenges that come with  leading a worship team at one of the churches extension services.

Ashleigh is an executive PA at Teachers Eyecare. She loves her job & is hoping to move closer to the city in the new year.

Jordan married his fiancee Paula in October.The wedding was lovely & Paula was a beautiful bride. Paula is Polish but her family live in Norway. They were married in Poland.
Jordan continues working in film & TV at Hillsong,& Paula is studying Design Marketing. They reside in Sydney for the time being.

Steven is a salesman at Ford & does well at his job. He has the gift of the gab & lots of charisma. Perfect for the job.

The highlight of the 2011 was definitely traveling through England, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Holland, Poland & Norway where we spent a few days with our new in laws. We had an awesome time & have some great memories. Would do it again in a flash.

It's so exciting for me to see this letter get bigger every year with the growth of our family.
I hope this year brings great joy to you, your family & churches, & that all of 2012 will be filled with the blessings of God.

Home Sweet Home… :)

Its always nice to come home to Australia... It was an exceptional tour with many fond memories, friends, Pastors and CHURCHES around USA.

Desma is doing fine and on the mend... Thank for your prayers and encouragement. I get to help her now with the Christmas shopping and all the family fun. I've been nominated to cook up a few Christmas treats; any suggestions or recipes?

My daughter Melody is in hospital and having another baby today... we love being grandparents - (will keep you updated on her progress)

Mission Complete! USA Tour is over…

Unfortunately we had to cancel/postpone our last few dates of the USA Tour. My wife Desma is not well and I need to be home in Australia with her... She is in surgery today and we're believing for a quick recovery; we so appreciate your prayers and support... Melody is having another baby next week also!!

It's been a marvelous tour, with so many people testifying of how they've been encouraged in their walk with God, healed in their bodies, and feeling inspired now to keep moving forward into all that God has for them.

I'm so proud of Jaydn, Josh and Sam!! What a great band to work with for 6 weeks!!

I'm catching my flight back to Australia today and suspect that'll I'll be asleep even before the plane backs off from the terminal! It was great to be in the Worship Encounter with my brother Nathan and sister in-law Mary at Road To Life Church; Chesterton, Indiana last night - what a blast!!

In the words of Nathan's song: "Home is where my heart is, Home is where my heart belongs, Heaven is not so far away... Heaven is not so far away..."

2011 USA Tour

It's been a great tour! We've travelled about 8500 Miles in our rental van, had loads of Starbucks Gingerbread Lattes, setup our equipment dozens of times, then packed it all up, driven to the next Church, then unpacked, then setup all over again, drove and drove, put 100% into the singing, preaching, more driving, many saved, heaps of people encouraged, healed and inspired!! What a privilege it is to serve the Lord and to encourage His Church!

I've asked the guys to stretch their musical capcity and do at least 3 things in the Worship Encounters; Jaydn leads worship, plays electric guitar, acoustic guitar, violin and the tongue drum. Josh has been playing the drums, the xylophone and singing, Sam has been playing the bass, percussion, the thunder tube and singing...

Its been a marvelous tour so far!
